Indoor Games

1. Chess:

Chess is a two-player strategy board game that simulates a battle between two kingdoms. The game is played on a square chessboard divided into 64 squares of alternating colors. Each player begins the game with 16 pieces that have various abilities and strengths. The aim is to 'checkmate' your opponent's king. This means you place your opponent's king under an attack from which there is no escape.

2. Scrabble:

This is a word game for 2-4 players where you must try to make high scoring words on a board by using lettered tiles. Each player is given seven lettered tiles to start with, and during their turn, a player makes a word on the board using any of the letters. The game ends when all tiles have been used or no player can make a word with the tiles left in their hands. The player with the highest score wins.

3. Jenga:

This game involves 54 wooden blocks. Each block is stacked on top of the other to form a tower. Each player takes a turn to remove one block and places it on the top of the tower. The game ends when the tower collapses, and the player who made the last successful move wins.

4. Monopoly:

This is a board game where players roll two six-sided dice to move around the game board, buying and trading properties, and developing them with houses and hotels. Players collect rent from their opponents, with the aim of driving them into bankruptcy.

5. Twister:

Twister is a game of physical skill. It is played on a large plastic mat that is spread on the floor or ground. The mat has six rows of large colored circles. A spinner is attached to a square board and is used to determine where the player has to put their hand or foot. The player who falls or touches the mat with an elbow or knee is eliminated. The last player left standing wins.

6. Pictionary:

In this game, players have to guess what their teammate is trying to convey through a drawing. Each player gets a turn to draw a picture of a word provided to them in secret while their team attempts to guess the word. The team that guesses the most words correctly wins.

7. Poker:

Poker is a family of card games that combines strategy, skill, and gambling. All poker variants involve betting as an intrinsic part of play, and the winner of each hand is determined by the combinations of players' cards, some of which remain hidden until the end of the hand.

8. Ping Pong (Table Tennis):

This is a sport where two or four players hit a lightweight ball back and forth using table tennis rackets. The game takes place on a hard table divided by a net. Except for the initial serve, players must allow a ball played toward them only one bounce on their side of the table and must return it so that it bounces on the opposite side. The player with the most points wins.

9. Uno:

The objective of this game is to be the first player to score 500 points, achieved by being the first to play all of one's own cards and scoring points for the cards still held by the other players.
